Leisure dessert

The best dim sum I've had for a long time. I've brought about 5 of my friends and my mother, they all agree.

I didn't get to take a picture of my food, but I did get to take a picture of the deserts.
I had the Braised beef rice noodle soup
First sip of the broth was full of flavor. After mixing it with the braised beef it only intensified the flavor and made it so delicious. I just wish there were more veggies in it but that's my preference of course. I also got the Deep fried shrimp. I thought it was going to be drenched in oil ("hence deep fried"), but it wasn't, The shrimp is a good size not too small very flavorfull. I added hot oil to it, but honestly you don't need it. It's good the way it is.

Usually i would add all sorts of extra stuff to my food wether it's hot oil, soy sauce, butter or whatever the extra would be. But the food here is very delicious, full of flavor and such a beautiful presentation. I had leftovers because I did order a few things and wanted to taste a few of their items. They even packed it of me. They didn't take it to the back to do it like most of the restaurant would do. They did it in front of me. Gave me more tea. All in all I will definitely be coming back with my family. It's worth it.

I was surprised to find this restaurant in Concord. The name Leisure Dessert might be misleading, since the restaurant serves more than just desserts, which are pretty authentic Chinese desserts that are not found in many Chinese restaurants. The milk pudding comes in different flavors and can be served warm or cold. The coconut desserts are also worth mentioning. They come in several varieties, and are served in a real coconut shell (with young coconut meat still attached). The desserts are just the right sweetness, perfect for people with a sweet tooth but prefer something not too rich.

The savory dishes are plenty to choose from. The beef stew noodle soup, the rice plates, and wonton are among my favorites. The only thing is that not all items on the menu are available. It depends on the chef on duty and the ingredients they have in the kitchen. Also, if there's an item that hardly anybody orders, they would stop making it.

The restaurant is spacious, so seating is very comfortable. Staff is friendly and service is always good. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Contrary to its name, this place doesn't serve only desserts. Their menu is big. The portions were huge and the food was tasty. Service was ok. I didn't save room for dessert, but I hope to go back to try it.

First time experience was great. They have a regular menu (including a lunch menu) and a dessert menu, so they have a good variety of flavors and dishes. What’s great is that they have a picture menu for both menus so you can see what each thing is (what would make it better is an additional list menu).

Portions are large, and if each person orders their dish, then you will probably have leftovers. Desserts are fresh and shareable, but you might want to try a couple for the variety.

Servers were patient with us as we took our time looking through the menus. They can speak both English and Chinese. Right now as they just recently opened, they are short-staffed.

Overall, a great experience as they just opened, and as a first-time customer.
