I came here for the first time mid-May 2020 after a long time away from this shopping center. I was going to see if Capriotti's next door was still in business, and Yum^2 was new to me. I saw they were open and figured I'd give them a go. I was interested to hear their story. I was greeted by the owner, who confirmed they had opened 1 week prior to the lockdown. It is a family business, with 2 children doing schoolwork in the center of the cordoned-off dine-in seating area.

I could tell times were especially challenging, a vandal had smashed one of their windows as well as the store next door and the Starbucks. By the time I ordered, I had seen enough to know that I wanted to spend a little extra. Instead of just my meals I bought a Thai iced tea for my girlfriend, a Thai iced coffee for myself, and a dessert (mango with sticky rice). I ordered Pad See Ew with extra chicken and made it 3/5 spicy. My gf got pineapple fried rice. It took maybe 10 minutes before we were served all of our order, with the drinks being taken out to us waiting in the car as they were ready (one after the other). Very attentive staffing with an earnest desire to impress. The drinks were fantastic. 3/5 on the spicy scale packed a kick. I have a big appetite and, with the extra meat, was perfectly satisfied.

The dessert was also phenomenal and made my gf nostalgic, thinking back to having the same thing in the Phillipines.

We went again 2 days later and I got the same thing less the dessert. She got the chicken satay and we were both as delighted as the first visit, confirming consistent quality and breadth of capability. Everything we've got from their menu has been top-tier.

I stop by whenever I can to get a Thai iced tea, an excellent pre-workout source of simple sugars. I want to see Yum Squared thrive.

Very good service. Very friendly. They totally accept translation interpreter for the deaf with no problem. They have made me chose this resutarant one of the best. Totally love their coconut soup and beef Larb.

Great use of the space, and friendly staff and owner.

For having only eaten at Yum Squared once a few days after opening, the food was memorable enough to get me to go back again. Definitely above-average in taste for a decent price.

The food was very good and fast service. The portion were pretty big! The waitress was super friendly.
