“We had a great evening with our friends. The food has very good! We enjoyed the special coconut shrimp and calamari. I would say the shrimp could use a little bit more coconut flavor. The fish and chips was very good too. It's a bit different with a planko crust, yet it was a nice change of pace. My friend has the Philly Cheesesteak. Three thumbs up from him. I will definitely visit again. Much better than before. It has been remodeled and under new management.”

“The salmon is the best item I tasted here. Moist and flavorful. But the portion was maybe 8oz for $21, so I felt cheated overall. The rice was hard and tasted undercooked. Hummus was great. You don’t get enough pita bread to finish the dish. Additionally, a fly landed on my plate, so l didn’t finish the hummus anyways. The salad was by far the worst item on the plate. They should opt for farm fresh veggie instead. The lettuce was wilted and the salad did not taste fresh at all. The baklava looked much better than it tasted. I was really excited because it has layers. It was very hard and dense. I could barely cut it with just the fork given to me, so I didn’t finish it. The top was not crispy like I’ve had at other restaurants. Atmosphere was 5 stars in appearance. A bit hot. Return value 1/5 Quality 2/5 Customer Service 5/5 Parking 5/5”

“We were recommended to try this new place because it was a cajun restaurant with a very interesting story for how it got it's start. Need to check it out! When deciding where to go today, we looked up the menu here in Google Maps, so we thought Cajun Eggs Benedict sounded perfect... Loaded up the car and drove out to Discovery Bay to have brunch (on a Thursday) and support a new, local place. *Be aware that Cajun Eggs Benedict is only served for brunch on Sat & Sun.* 😔 The place was clean and comfortable, even a cute yet clean restroom. The customer service provided to us was ahh-mazing. Being 10:30am on a Thursday, she could've checked in minimally but she really worked to make sure we were informed on what to order and to make sure we were happy. Thanks, Raja! Don't come here expecting cajun-like food, it's more trying to be like gourmet-American. Also the price point is a little high for the portions, but with everything made fresh in house (dressings, sausage, etc) it was indeed fresh and good. Was going to give 4 stars for getting 2 meals and both of us leaving still kinda hungry, but you know that customer service makes it 4.5 stars...so rounding up to a 5.”

“Probably the best bar and restaurant in Discovery Bay. Good place to watch sports, and/or have a white table cloth dinner. Good meet up spot too. I visited the sports bar to meet a friend. Lots of TV screens, so inside viewing is excellent. Bit of a challenge from the patio, but they do have big windows. Food options are okay, but I wish they had calamari. The nachos are very good and they know how to make drinks that are not on the menu. Overall good time and I could see this as a good place to watch a game. Enjoy.”

“So happy these folks opened nearby. Food was all very good but the chicken gyro was truly excellent. Staff was happy to help and very friendly. Clearly they take pride in their food and it shows with the excellent quality, excellent taste, and excellent service. Ok also you gotta get some Baklava, incredible. I bought some to share then after one bite decided to hoard it for myself. I will even go back for this alone.”

“Small portion sizes. And a disassembled burger. I've only had lunch here but it was lack luster to say the least. The Burger was not bad but far from exceptional. The make it yourself burger with everything on the side is not for me. Also, the buns were over grilled to the point that it was biting into a slab of Styrofoam. The fries were average tasting but the lack of quantity is disappointing. Their shake was very good! It was quite large, clearly made with quality ingredients and it was very thick! I think it could use some malt but thats just my preference. In general, this is and OK restaurant. Given the choice, I would eat at one of the other two restaurants in disco bay.”

“We tried it once when we first moved to DB 4 years ago and were disappointed. Decided to try it again and actually dine in this time instead of getting take out and are so glad we did.. food was actually pretty good. Beef chow mein, chicken fried rice, fried wontons and salt and pepper pork were all really good. Orange chicken was just ok. Service was good. Definitely coming back and glad we gave it another try.. kinda bummed we’ve been missing out all these years????”
