(March 3, 2019, 4:25 pm)The food was great. But most importantly. I have been under a ton of stress and not sleeping well. After this meal i slept the best i have slept in months. I will return to test my theory soon.

Generous portions (as others have mentioned), delicious vegan and gluten-free food (the injera is made with 100% teff, not cut with wheat), and amazing homemade tej all set this place apart from other Ethiopian fares. Plus, you'll be treated like family when you come here to dine.

(January 4, 2019, 3:03 am)Great food and really generous proportions. We ordered the vegetarian sampler and we got refills of the dishes several times, and did not get charged extra. The staff are very friendly, and the service is quick. Its a secret little gem in Richmond!

(December 30, 2018, 8:54 pm)Excellent Ethiopian restaurant, somewhat hidden away in El Cerrito. The food is vegan & delicious. A small, clean place with pleasant ambience, healthy-yet-sumptuous meals, and nice people. Definitely recommended!
