Guru Curry House

I was so excited to try Guru Curry House as it’s super close to where I live and Indian food is my absolute favorite. This restaurant is a 10/10 the service was excellent, the food was the best I’ve tried in California so far. We had the Samosa Chaat as an appetizer, the mango lassi, rice, garlic cheese naan (which was filled with cheese and absolutely the best naan I’ve ever had) the chicken vindaloo and bhangain bharta, which is eggplant. The chicken in the chicken vindaloo was PERFECTION. The chicken is marinated and melts in your mouth. The eggplant was the bestttt I’ve tried! Everything was perfection and I’m sooooo happy we tried it as it’ll definitely be our new stop for dine in or take out Indian cuisine. They do have a parking lot to the side!

My friend and I had a couple of chicken curries (CTM, Korma), aloo naan and basmati rice for lunch. Both curries were "super spicy," and were nicely hot, as well as being very flavorful, and the chicken was tender and well marinated. Best curry place I've been to in years! Will definitely be coming back with more friends and family. Tibetan atmosphere with plenty of photos of famous landmarks and the Dalai Lama.

Only giving a 4 because I need to come back to try the other items on the menu. I only tried 4 of their extensive menu! I will say everything I ordered was of quality which makes me want to come back for more.

Lamb curry(could have gone spicier personally, got med), garlic naan (lightly crispy, a hair flaky, and doughy at the same time), pakora (just enough veg to batter ratio), Momos (also balanced dough to meat).

I also like how they have the sauces in squirt bottles to pour to your hearts content!
