New Dumpling

Some of the flakiest scallion pancakes I've eaten. Napa cabbage and pork dumplings along with the shrimp and pork dumplings were equally delicious. Spicy pig ear salad gave an added touch of spice in between bites of dumplings.

Arrived at 6:43 pm on 8/4 as a party of 3 was told there was going to be a 15-minute wait with 1 group ahead of us. Three groups of people (4,2,2) were seated before us. Finally got a table at 7:13 pm. ehhh....

Our order:
Beef Noodle Soup: 9/10
-Nice numbing heat like Szechuan but very muted.
-The beef was mostly cartilage. Noodles were nice and springy.
Green Onion Pancake: 9/10
-Crispy, good flavor but not enough green onions imo
Napa Cabage & Pork Dumps: 8/10
Chive & Shrimp & Pork Dumps: 9/10
Mushroom & Chicken Dumps: 9/10

Overall the meal was pretty satisfying and worth the try. Not the best dumplings I've had but they're still pretty good. Wish they had some vinegar/chili oil sauce to combine with soy sauce.

I'm so happy this little place opened up. It's so nice that that you can find something outside to the Oakland/Berkeley area. I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Parking was easy to find and we were seated right away.

We got the mushroom and cucumber salad as our appetizer which as very tasty and fresh. The shrimp and pork dumplings were made on the spot and served hot and the last order of Beef noodle soup it is a bit spicy and will numb the inside of your mouth.

Only thing I wish that they had more noodle items to choose from. It is a very simple menu, but hopefully it will grow to more items later on.

I will be coming back for more!

I've been wanting to try this place when my neighbor mention it just couldn't get around to it. I only have limited time I'm bay area going back to vegas soon. When I walk in there wasn't anyone there yet, but people soon follow. You can actually seen workers prepare fresh food including sealing the pleated edge of dumplings. Pretty small place for this vibrant new business probably don't seat more than 25 at most and little ones are welcome too (booster seat). I know its legit because menu is one page only they make only what they specialize in and thats dumplings.

Green onion pancake was one of the best I had in recent memory light crispy exterior soft warm inside busting with flavor. Pork and cabbage dumpling is really good thin wrapper generous amount of filling hold its shape didn't separate after a bite. They definitely know their goal here and it shows from operation to quality of food nothing was more than USD$10.45 on menu thats budget friendly.
