I tried chicken thakali thali, MoMo and Buff Sukuti Bento. Awesome autuentic Nepali food and good customer service. Owner is very humble person. I will definitely back to this restaurant. Ignore bad review, try this restaurant !!
The food is very good - very flavorful yet easy to digest. The mutton and chicken curries are great, and so are the thalis (both veg and non veg).
One of the best Nepali restaurants so far in the Bay Area ... such a delicious food ... give it a try to Mutton Thali and their momo ... their momo soup is so different then the rest .... delicious ????????????
Very authentic Nepalese restaurant. Momos were very good. Definitely recommend it.
I found this gem of a restaurant tucked away in a small plaza in El Cerrito. Zomsa serves a blend of Indian and Nepalese dishes that are a combination of traditional and fusion. All the staff that I could see seemed to be from Nepal. They were extremely pleasant and welcoming - big smiles all around. Nearly all the clientele also seemed to be from Nepal or thereabouts - a good sign that the food is authentic. I love Indian food, and found the dishes to be well cooked and spicy but not overly so. I also discovered new food, such as the delightful crispy bitter melon. Another dish contained baked buffalo pieces cooked to the point of jerky! Can't say I loved that but others seemed to enjoy it. This place has become a go-to destination for me, not just because of the food, but also because the atmosphere is so welcoming and the people are so friendly.
