Social Bird Kitchen and Bar

Were there in the afternoon so had limited menu between lunch and dinner. Food was delicious and so were the cocktails. Will definitely be back for full menu!

Sooo busy when we walked in for the first time last Friday night, but everyone from the hostesses who apologized for the hour wait to the bussers who quickly wiped out table clean and set our places for us were very friendly and professional. Food was delicious and the drink my husband ordered was good. Thankful to have a place that we can go all out and spend a lot or get some good burgers and spend a bit less. Kids meals were nothing special and I'll have my kids oder and share from the regular menu next time as this is where they shine! We will be back, BUT will make a reservation this time.

What they have done to the space previously occupied by Yankee Pier is amazing!! Great decor and very lively atmosphere. We had no reservation on New Year’s Eve, but were seated at the long table, where we shared it with others. Still felt very private. Small plates dishes were all amazing. Will be going there again for sure.
Service was A+.
Naveed was very Attentive and pleasant. Made us feel right at home.

Tried SB tonight - figured a Monday night would be calm - NOT!
Full House, great energy and very friendly hostess. Waited 10 min or so for a seat at the bar, then helped by Steve - great bartender and very attentive.
After much deliberation (so many wonderful choices) decided on the hangar steak (Med). Came with great Chimichurri sauce and delicious fries... also ordered the brussel sprouts (to die for). Steak was delicious but decidedly rare. Ate half of it anyway because the flavor was amazing. Manager came by to ask how I was - I said the steak was a little rare for my taste, and he immediately took it back to the kichen. Chef came out to apologize. Manager filled up my wine glass gratis, and made sure I had a fork for the re-done steak. Steak came out perfect, with hot new fries and I was a happy camper. Manager checked in with me 5 min later to make sure everything was cool.
Couldn't ask for better service and attention... The menu is so intriguing I'm sure I will be a regular there.

This was the first night they were open to the public and it was outstanding. Delicious food, great service, wonderful ambiance. Great addition to Lafayette !
