Taqueria Pleasant Hill

Friendly staff and tasty fare. My steak and seafood Molcajete (even though I had to order it as a take-out) was great and easily served two. I suspect it would have been even better if I had ordered it for dine-in.

First time here and all we can say is this will be our go-to when we want Mexican food! The staff was very friendly and the food portions are huge. The food was flavorful and well prepared. Excellent place!!!

omg, the salsa bar is on point! Carnitas and chorizo tacos are delicious! Fried to order tortillas make the crunchy tacos extra special.

This restaurant has great food and friendly workers. They always offer chips and salsa, even for to go orders. I'm happy to have a new taqueria here in Pleasant Hill.

Place is new and clean. Prices are standard. Nice that they have a vegetarian menu section, though I didn't try it.

Crispy taco was good and pretty big.

Tamale only comes in chicken. The masa is really soft and the texture is excellent.

Jumbo burrito isn't too big, about standard for a lot of places' super burrito. Price is similar too, so nbd.

Chili verge taco - Slightly below average. Would not recommend the Chili Verde.

Pastor, which is what I always get at Mexican restaurants is good.

Steak/asada - average

Carnitas - Usually I'm scared to order this in most places because I tend to be disappointed, but here is was very good. Some crispiness to it and very tasty. Definitely would eat this again!

The red sauce at the condiment bar was not good. Tastes strongly of canned tomato sauce.

The pico de Gallo was average to slightly below average.

It's worth a try at the very least.
