“We were in town for a baby shower and decided to go get for brunch on our last day. We arrived and were sat quickly for 1030/11am on a Sunday. We ordered coffee (Not sure if coffee was refillable, but it was never offered and became too hot for me to ask for another cup) and beignets. The beignets are NOT like NOLA, they are more a mushy donut with banana foster on top. They were good, just not exceptional to me to get again. When we ordered I just asked for them, thinking there would be a variety, but they only came out with bananas. So make sure if you want flavors, you ask. Our food came out and everything looked great! My friends who got the Egg Benedict’s said there was a bit more of a lemon taste than they were used to, but they were good. The Banana Foster pancakes were great! I would definitely get them again, but then share another plate. Over all the restaurant was nice! The little downtown atmosphere of Pleasant Hill was quaint, many families around. I would definitely go back for those home style potatoes and a different dish. Very popular place!”

“It was a 'special event' tonight. A very good buffet with a superb 'Rat Pack' dinner show. The food was very good. Choices of salad, chicken, meatballs, Alfredo pasta, prime rib. The show was like being back in a 1950's night club. The Rat Pack, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Joey Bishop, were excellent. It was lots of fun and very enjoyable.”

“First time visiting this place. The food was excellent. My whole family was happy eating here. The atmosphere was quiet with lots of natural light. I had the pork belly spicy ramen. Delicious! The spiciness made my nose run in a good way. My son had the lunch special on chicken teriyaki and tempura, which he very much enjoyed. My husband had sizzling stain bibimbop with kimchi. Sincerely her had not eaten here before the server was very kind in showing him how to stir it. Husband was super happy with his meal. We will be going back!”

Although it’s miserable to order through masks and to stand in specific zones after ordering, I appreciate the effort Starbucks and this store is doing to properly do business during the Pandemic. “Knives Out was a great, fun, modern murder mystery. Theatre was clean and adequately staffed, however it was very cool for a matinee catering to seniors. I had a blanket fortunately but I prefer not to take one if possible. A little more heat in the theatre's would have given you 5 stars.”
