If your week isnt going well, the price here will scare you away. But the love that was put into my turkey n jalapeño sandwich makes me feel good. The bread is a little tough for the average American used to white bread. This shop makes sandwiches that belong in magazines. The place smells good as you enter the old doors. A little packed sometimes but I found a spot today to eat and have a beer with my boss and an old friend of his, we stayed for a good 2 hours. The atmosphere is amazing, a little loud but that makes it exciting. Staff deserve a thousand tips today because I'm too poor to give a good one.

Place is great. The food is as good as I have had for breakfast. Nice historic building. The opens early and the coffee is ready when you walk through the door.

The area (historical place) around the restaurant and the restaurant is beautiful. My friend and I had brunch here and it was good. We sat in the back porch. It was also beautiful.

Quick stop for coffee and breakfast bread on my way to San Francisco. Wonderful and healthy bread with carrots, raisins, etc. bit I have to say it was probably some of the best coffee I have ever had. I wish I knew what they used. I didn’t get a chance to go back to get any.
