    Good food and cosy place to have a good Italian cuisine. Pasta is good and they have long list of dessert (12 count in total) plus tea and coffee.

    Oldest restaurant in Walnut Creek, and one of the BEST!! Authentic, fresh cooked to order, delicious Italian Food. Great service! Prime location for going to the theater of the Arts across the street. Dave at the bar is unstoppable, and the bar scene is welcoming and lively. Max, the owner, is a perfectionist, and a true treasure. Love it!

    Spectacular tasting menu and wine pairing. Portions were generous. Food was creative and full of wonderful tastes and textures.

    Highly recommend you make reservations. We have been turned away several times saying they were fully booked even though the restaurant was empty at 5:30pm. The food is delicious and service excellent. We love the authentic flavors and nuances of the Massimo's.

    Reservations accepted and we got seats immediately. Ambience was nice. Seating a bit snug. Prices a little on the high side but expected for fine dining in Walnut Creek. Food was delicious, we had the surgery halibut, woke salmon, hanger steak and said linguini and each of us would recommend each. Not 5 starts as the service needed improvements as they forgot out drink order, didn't offer pepper for the Caesar salad.
