“We have been trying to get down here for a long time and finally managed to do it today. We had checked first to ensure that they had outdoor seating so our puppy would be well taken care of. Staff greeted us outside, got water for the dog. Made sure we had what we needed but we had failed to check to see when the regular menu would kick in. Brunch runs 10 to 1 on weekends and starting at 11:00 the regular menu kicks in. They were willing to prepare us French onion soup while we sat outside which was absolutely beyond delicious. Not iver cooked. Not over salted and then I had the filet black and blue salad and my husband had the grand mare sandwich. Everything was absolutely perfect and we couldn't have been happier. We will definitely be back and we definitely recommend everyone try this”

“We were impressed by this place, the food, the decor, etc. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I noticed they did a good job cooking the tofu in the pad Thai. Often it's forgettable but it had good texture and bite to it. Slight downside is usually Thai restaurants ask us how spicy we want it, I'm used to a scale. They didn't ask and I'm not picky so I was just curious how it would come, and it wasn't spicy at all. So, if you like your pad Thai spicy, I'd either ask them to make it spicy, or they have a chili jar they'll bring to the table to kick it up a notch. Thanks we'll be back!”

“Glad they came in to recently opened Walnut Creek location as we are constant at San Ramon city center. Unfortunately, outside of the location being new, the salad recipes definitely need to be fine tuned. First and foremost on the second day of opening, they are out of the Thai mango salad! Really? This is one of the Mendocino’s trump cards… Mediterranean crunch salad had definitely something spoiled in it on the bottom that once I’ve grabbed the beans, I couldn’t touch them anymore. It smelled sad! Cute, exciting and happy greeting from the host really pleased our company. Thank you for that. The seat with artificial grass cover did add a good touch to a design. However, the top edge of the back of the seat has the metal edge that can be harmful to your active baby.”

“I am glad that Qdoba is finally in the Bay Area. Quite happy it's located in Easy Bay. Always a fan of their food. Coming to this location. Not a big place but I like what they did with the space. On a hot day, it would be nice to have some cooling or mist for seating outside. Definitely in the shade but still those things would make it even more comfortable. Food is great too but the serving sizes are on the smaller side. The staff were very conservative while putting in the rice or beans or the meat. Liked when the manager came to us and greeted personally and explained their rewards program and catering options. It always feels good when they do such gestures. Makes us feel important as a customer.”

It was our first time here and I was hesitant on spice level; server/staff super nice to let my SO and I sample a small piece of the medium and hot chicken. The hot got my tongue burning for like 10 minutes 🥵 so I went with the medium for my sando combo with greens. This place’s spice level beats Dave’s hot chicken ghost pepper and Main Chick hot chicken spice out of the ball park!!! So good here. Not only the seasoning but also the chicken. Highly recommend!!! “Delicious food, attentive service, and generous portions! The focaccia came out warm and freshly baked. We ordered 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 1 dessert. The arancini and Caesar salad were the favorites of the apps. Really great tasting Caesar dressing! My parents loved their branzino and bouillabaisse. I was pleased to see quite a few vegetarian friendly options. The Pollo d’Angelo pasta is so delicious. The sherry wine cream sauce is flavorful without being overly rich. They happily accommodated my request to have the chicken on the side. The profiteroles filled with vanilla bean gelato were the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. The pastry puffs were nice and warm, which complimented the ice cream filling. My mom doesn’t like chocolate sauce, so requested it on the side and they also gave us a side of berry sauce as requested. Service is very professional and our server was really lovely. Tonight they even had live music from the Mirage Band which added nice ambiance to dinner. Looking forward to enjoying another meal there!”

“This couldn’t have hit off opening weekend better. Food and drink we’re superb, I was not disappointed. 10/10 recommend any drink…. My husband and I sampled many 6/9 of the drinks and not a single one was even border-lining mediocre. If you’re unsure about rum he will change your mind. We will follow the bar manager Alex till the end of time, HES a genius. But this chef is also phenomenal. We will be back. No question about it.”
