Creek House Dim Sum Restaurant

Really nice dim sum place in Walnut Creek! Lots of great traditional options and the shrimp was spectacular (I find shrimp is a good way to tell the quality of a place). All the steam trays came out still steaming hot and they gave us great jasmine tea. Very affordable as well, I was pleasantly surprised. I went at around 1 pm and we didn't have a wait for table, sat immediately.

Name changed from Shanghai restaurants to Creek House, mainly on Chinese dim sum now. Not bad food, not too expensive, not bad environment, and waiting time for us is only 15 minutes. On the other side, We did experience wrong order, but they could fix it as we pointed out. Not bad neither. Attached menu that's correct as of February 16, 2019.

Was recommended by friend to come here and was not disappointed. Food tasted fresh compared to other Chinese establishments in the area. Service was friendly and fast too. I will be a returning customer.

So good! I've only been to one other place for dim sum. It's something that I've increasingly acquired a taste for. So finding a place close to me that is also good is nothing short of a blessing. I recommend getting there early! I arrived at 10:30 and there were already people inside seated. I only waited 10 minutes to be seated with a part of 4.
I ordered the typical stuff. Your baked and steamed BBQ pork dumplings and Shanghai dumplings were great. Alps had pot stickers and rolled rice. Everything is average priced. For four of us we paid $40. Definitely come here with a group so you all can taste a lot of things!
Overall I'm glad this place opened up and I'll definitely be coming back soon.
