Va de Vi

I love this place. The staff is always top notch, the food is amazing. Sit at the counter and watch the chefs work their magic.

Service was on point. Friendly helpful waiter. The bus staff was everywhere all the time.Don’t everything I’ve ever tasted at Va de Vi has been delicious. But the deserts here steal the show — absolutely out of this world. I’d come back for the deserts alone.

The ambiance here is wonderful, you don't even realize you are smack dab in downtown Walnut Creek. The fountains help muffle the downtown noise. The out door seating under the big old oak tree and in the passage way is delightful. Indoors is also very charming. The food is all small plates to share and is extremely well presented, tasty and totally satisfying. The menu changes seasonally and is always well thought through, creative and a culinary adventure. Make sure to make reservations! Don't miss the pond the koi & turtles.

Excellent place! If you want to see how they prepare the food (very entertaining) sit in front of the kitchen. If you're in a romantic mood, sit under the tree. Parking in the rear too. Can't say enough about this place. Always a great experience!

We had a family birthday celebration here in the evening and enjoyed great service and wonderful food in their lovely relaxed dining room. We each ordered two plates and a desert and were more than amply fed. My chicken curry and spring salad was incredible and I was told that the cod and salmon were equally good. My chocolate souffle was out of this world. Try this Walnut Creek classic restaurant.
