Ike’s Love and Sandwiches

Big meaty sandwiches. Big menu on the wall left side as you walk in. Speak loud enough so that your order is taken correctly. Friendly staff, limited seating. Average price is $10. French fries are also available as a side as well as other “BFF sides”. Gave 4 stars because of the size. Must have bread recommendation is “Dutch Crunch”.

Little Luca has bigger sandwiches for the same price near San Francisco Airport exit.

I enjoy Ike's. This location is pretty nice. I do like the set up, decent space to eat. Friendly staff and quick service. Parking is across the street.
I feel that Ike's closes earlier than others, so check the times.

The sandwiches are great, but the customer service at this location leaves some to be desired. I had a phone-in pickup order, and when I walked in there was a line of 4 people waiting while an employee stood to the side of the cash register looking at her phone instead of taking orders. She took one order, then another employee came to take the next, and the first returned to her phone and stood to the side of the second cash register while the line grew and my sandwich sat behind the counter getting cold.

Hard not to love this place. Delicious sandwiches, pretty quick, good prices. Most, if not all, of the sandwiches are more of a sub than anything else.

Years ago, I stopped by to grab a quick sandwich and (after ordering), I found myself a couple dollars short and couldn’t afford the sandwich. They immediately said no problem, and covered what I owed and made me the sandwich regardless. It’s hard to beat that kind of customer service these days!

Ike's sandwiches are to die for. I thought I had seen all the various iterations on top quality sandwiches, but Ike's does it right. Good bread. Great sauces and cheeses. Great selection. Every single special sandwich is one that has been hand-selected by customers, employees, or the owner. Doesn't disappoint.
