World Famous Hotboys Chicken

the BEST spicy SUPER tender chicken in California !!! Definitely lives up to being #1 chicken CA!!! It was our first time here and I was hesitant on spice level; server/staff super nice to let my SO and I sample a small piece of the medium and hot chicken. The hot got my tongue burning for like 10 minutes 🥵 so I went with the medium for my sando combo with greens.

This place’s spice level beats Dave’s hot chicken ghost pepper and Main Chick hot chicken spice out of the ball park!!! So good here. Not only the seasoning but also the chicken.

Highly recommend!!! Come if you want the hot spicy challenge 😎

I really enjoyed it! My spicy connoisseur friends will tell you the chicken was not as spicy as they expected. I’m not the biggest lover of spice so I loved it. The tenders are amazingly juicy and the Sando is just as good, very filling.
The staff were very unenthusiastic but very speedy.
The decor is amazing and we were very excited South Africans when we saw our flag hanging inside.

First time at HotBoys and it did not disappoint. The service was friendly, helpful, and fast. I didn’t wait too long for my food despite it being lunch hour on a weekend and the food was delicious! I tired the chicken sandwich which was a great combo of crispy and juicy, the Mac n cheese (unbelievably creamy!!!), and the bonuts (a donut thing that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside). Inside the restaurant was a bright, colorful vibe, and there were old video games to play on various consoles. I’ll say, the only downside is probably the price. Otherwise, a great experience.
