“The sweetest owner and friendliest staff. Quaint lunch spot. Huge parking lot and lovely indoor seating with lovely decor. We sat on the front patio. Homemade pizza crust is phenomenal. The caboose pizza was delicious with all the fixings, comes with a generous side salad.Tried out the carrot cake and it was so tasty! Everything is made from scratch. Will definitely be back!”

“I love this new locally-owned taproom in Shingle Springs. Beer Temple carries a wide selection of beers on tap and they have even more in cans and bottles. The owners are super friendly, and the casual atmosphere is perfect for my husband and I to grab a drink together after work. Today we brought our son who enjoyed a 7Up and playing free video games on their multiple game systems.”

“Happy hour specials are $1 or $2 off beer and a couple of reduced price apps. Husband got the $4 basket of tots... it was a large portion of golden brown goodness! I also had a salad with grilled chicken. Yummy food and good service.”

“Cute little place with indoor & outdoor seating. Right off the highway. Good, breakfast/lunch menu. Great tasting food. We got a brunch BLT (includes scrambled eggs) and a lunch BLT add turkey (no eggs) to make it a club sandwich. The turkey was the real thing like you'd have at home. Delicious espresso, tea/coffee choices, and lots of pastries too. We'll definitely go back.”

“Loved all aspects of this cute and charming restaurant. From the excellent wine suggestion to the goulash and dessert crepe, everything was delicious! Service was attentive and prompt. Alma, the owner, is as charming as the ambience! And, we LOVED the decorative European flair throughout, including the tablecloths on tables in the cute patio, and the dishes on which our food was served.”

“Really solid local pizzeria style pizza place, great crust with some micro blistering on the underside and a good color all around. If I'm in the area and in need of pizza again, I'll definitely be back.”

“We really enjoyed the food! The twice baked potatoes were to die for. Good ribs and the cole slaw has pineapple. Yum. I think they might fare better if it's appearance was a tad cleaner. That's why 4 stars in lieu of 5. Take home the good food. It's a good take out alternative to fast food.”

“Fantastic bbq! Just had pork ribs for lunch amazingly tender, great light smoke flavor. My wife had the trip tip sandwich. It was a little too overcooked but also had amazing flavor. We had three sides, Mac and cheese which was creamy and served hot, Cole slaw which was fresh and flavorful and potato salad which was by far the best. The cornbread was a little dry as well but the honey butter made up for it. Amazingly nice and friendly staff. Clean building. I will be back!”
