Bear Beach Cafe

This place was an absolute life saver for an early breakfast. The coffee and food were great, and the serving size was more than adequate. They also have really good muffins to go along with your breakfast. Would recommend.

My husband and I have been here twice now. Once on our honeymoon back in 2014 and once this year (2019) for our five year wedding anniversary. Both times we were not disappointed! Our most recent visit was great! Gracie, our server, was sweet, attentive and overall amazing! The prices are a little high for my average liking, but I cannot make what water view prices cost in Lake Tahoe. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful restaurant right across from the lake. Prompt friendly service, English and Español friendly, with huge portions of good food (a little pricey but really worth it). The biscuits were awesome and not dry or weird, the banana walnut pancakes were a huge portion and super good! The hot chocolate came with a refill included (!!!) and the moment the coffee left my lips out waitress was near by to top off my cup. Overall really impressed with this lovely breakfast spot and it’s lovely view.

Great food, service and experience! I came here last weekend with my family for mothers day weekend and I must say our experience was AWESOME! Thank you Gracie for the excellent customer service! The management is also so awesome! And the food is delicious! The muffins were so fresh and delicious, they're the best muffins I've ever had! Thank you for everything, we will be returning for sure next time we visit Tahoe! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Located in a beautiful corner of the world this friendly diner offers a great selection of good food at reasonable prices. I chose a burger which came with salad and a healthy portion of fries. It was delicious and filling, just what you need. The staff are friendly and helpful and kept the coffee flowing. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
