Sprouts Café

This is, hands down, my FAVORITE place to eat in South Lake Tahoe. It’s usually pretty busy but the food always comes out hot and fairly fast. I almost always get the veggie burger. It’s amazing. I also love the kale refresher juice. Definitely stop here during your visit to South Lake. You will not regret it! It’s amazing. So good!!!

Really enjoy this place. It I could see be an acquired taste, for a lack of better explanation it's a healthy restaurant. I enjoyed it immensely though and will go again the next time on town.

Whether you are very hungry or not there is always something that will fit your hunger level. If you are in the mood for something light there is soup and salads. If you want a regular meal there is sandwiches with many sides. The food is healthy and very good. Their smoothies are very delicious as well. Portions are on the generous side. Give it a try as you won't be disappointed.

I wouldn't say the staff was very welcoming, but not rude either. I definitely got the impression from some of them that they didn't really want to be bothered, but since our food was so good we didn't really care, and it could've been a rough day. The dining area is large and laid back, too, and the music playing was pretty awesome, in my opinion. All in all, it was a lovely place with incredible food.

Fresh, great tasting, healthy food at great prices in an excellent environment.

Our 1 1/2 year old loved the little kids corner too, a very nice touch!
