Food was good, service was better! Portions were big. This was the tastiest meal I had my entire stay in Tahoe.

Best real Mexican restaurant in South Lake Tahoe. Food was awesome. Service was great. Prices are very inexpensive.

CASH ONLY!!! Wish someone had posted this in their review. Thankfully, we had enough cash on us for dinner. Just know they don't accept credit cards.

I had a Carne Asada burrito the other day after cycling around the lake. (73 miles and 4.2k of climbing)... Taste is really good, they have a salsa bar, chips and the price is also good. Great value for the money, especially these days. (2019)

Small restaurant tucked away in the back of strip mall. The decor was a bit dated and the music a bit loud but the food was tasty and inexpensive. I didn't like the drink selection of bottled beverages available on the refridgerator. Was was complementary but no ice was available. Ordered the enchiladas with mole and they were scrumptious! Beans and rice compliment the entree combos nicely. Complimentary chips were a bit skimpy but the salsa bar was nice. I gave a 4 star rating because they ONLY take cash.

I can see why this location has high ratings, because it definitely deserves them! Quality food with great cheap prices! I was doubtful of all the high ratings, but now that I went, they truly didn’t disappoint. Recommend!!! Beautiful location as well.
