Tep's Villa Roma Italian Restaurant

Very nice older restaurant. All entrees come with a soup and salad. The salad bar is awesome. The entrees seem to be fresh and have a good flavor and taste. We ordered many different entrees and all were good.

This place is a great family Italian restaurant. They have a venue for reception parties. The menu has a good selection of Italian cuisine, wines, and refreshments.
There is a bar separate from the dining room. The business is reported as being soly owned for 44 years.

With a coupon, the price can't be beat, & the food is good - good salad bar, with soup available. I would recommend asking the server NOT to hang your check until at least everyone is seated AFTER visiting the salad bar. Personally, having worked many years in the restaurant service, it is very bad to receive your entree while you are still eating your soup and/or salads. This happens way to frequently, & then the server w/o doers why his/her tip wasn't what was hoped for. They take your order, go hang your ticket on the wheel, then go get your beverages & some warm bread. Then you go to the salad bar - you're halfway through your salad, & here comes your food. Bad. :-{D

Sixth time at South Lake Tahoe but first time here. You can get a nice dinner with access to the salad bar, soup and bread. Our waitress did a great job taking care of us. My wife and son enjoyed their lasagna and I enjoyed my spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and anchovies. We were not able to finish our dinners. You will walk out pleasantly satisfied.

My husband and I are here on our honeymoon and just had dinner at Tep’s tonight! Our server Connie was so sweet and on her game! Atmosphere is very homey and cute. All staff were attentive and sincere. We were immediately greeted by an older nice gentleman who sat us. Salad bar was good and soup was awesome! Highly highly recommend for any crowd. Fairly priced as well. Big pasta portions!! :)
