El Pollo Loco

I absolutely love the food here but service is a hit and miss. Sometimes I get amazing service and other times the employees seemed irritated to be there and you can tell by the way they take your order. I keep going because of the food but you don't know what type of mood the employees are on.

El Pollo Loco is a great American fast food restaurant. Through the 35 or so years I've been a regular customer, their menu items have increased in number and style, but always having a great freshly flame Pgrilled chicken component. Their marinade is seared into the chicken skin and gives a great crispy flavor to the meat.

I typically buy their 3 piece meal, selecting legs & thighs, and choice of some 10 side dishes (pinto beans and rice for me) and flour tortillas. That, including a fountain drink, that makes a tasty quick lunch.

There also have tacos, burritos, and a variety of chicken with salad bowls. If you haven't been there in a while, give them a chance. Be aware there will be crowds during late morning and early to late afternoons!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff are always prepared to serve you quickly and keep the place neat and clean,no matter which store you visit.

This restaurant has many options of food. From me I specifically prefer just the whole roasted chicken it's absolutely delicious and the quality is good. The horchata is also good but it's not authentic horchata but it has a similar taste to it. Overall Pollo loco is a good place to get a quick bite or even just to get some lunch on a busy Sunday. The staff is friendly and they recently remodeled the place which makes it better to go to if you're looking for a clean and safe environment. The reason I give them four stars is because they're not the best but they have affordable quality meals. All in all Pollo loco is a good restaurant to eat healthy, nutritional, delicious food.

Love the 2-piece leg & thigh with 2 sides combo...delicious chicken lunch or dinner for $10 with my senior discount. The outlet of this chain on N. Blackstone has gotten better all around in recent months. They need to clean tables faster but otherwise all simpatico!

Had a fantastic chicken bowl there.. service was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean.. this was my first time.. everything was really good I'll be back
