Pismo's Coastal Grill

I ordered a sampler of the 3 chowders because all of the choices seem so good and I didn't want to pick. My fave out of the three was the Rhode Island Clear, the celery makes it quite refreshing. My main plate was the spicy shrimp udon. The portion was huge and I like how flavorful the dish was. It has just enough spice for you to feel a bit of a kick. They also gave a good portion of prawns/shrimps.

I always like to take out of town friends to local restaurant, rather than some chain. Food was delicious, service was great. These Rhode Islanders were impressed. Got my favorite Shrimp Louie salad, clam chowder bread bowls, grilled artichokes, clam linguini, salmon, haddock... everyone had something different. All delicious ????

Four of us---all first time...very impressed...Very good all the way around! Made reservations so no waiting involved. Kind and quick staff. Absolutely delicious food. Swordfish, brussel sprouts, shrimp, steak, crab all so yummy!! Pretty pricey but worth it????. Would definitely go back.

Good to above average food is rampant in the Central Valley. But when you have the best servers AND the best entrees, you know you've found a gem. I recently visited with my wife and kids on a Sunday afternoon for our 12th Anniversary and our server was just . . . So personable and thoughtful. They even brought us a dessert that was top notch (for free).
So, if you need a great menu, and genuine service staff . . . This is the place (yes, I'm talking to you, visitors in the surrounding hotels.)
Not only great seafood, but great entrees overall.

Expensive but I think you get what you pay for. The atmosphere was very nice and we didn’t have to wait long for our table. The food was good and the service was just as good. I do recommend this place however be prepared for a hefty price tag. It will be worth the money!
