The Palms

One of my top locations for tasty Quality Meals. Good place to relax and unwind. The service was very friendly and attentive.

The servers are excellent very attentive and and nice, my fave here is the salmon kabob with like this deep fried sweet potato cake (it is a special menu item) and capers is really tasty, however the last time i ordered it, the salmon tasted a lil bland, like they didn't put enough dill sauce over it. Atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The only thing i don't too much care for here are their drinks, their cocktails aren't worth the price or rave. Parking is fabulous, and there is security in the parking lot.

Servers are great. I felt like our server was our best friend towards the end of the evening.
Food was great. Had the Ribeye and my wife has the Salmon kabobs (special) and it was more than enough food, so I can't complain about portions. Food was about what I would expect for the price.
Atmosphere, well, it's not for everyone, but I do think it is "Fresno Fancy" and appeals to a particular demographic. I'm not going to knock it because the restaurant has its own identity.
Bottom line: Local Steakhouse with great food and staff. Atmosphere is the type of thing where you like it or you don't.

Wow! This restaurant has beautiful architectural work, it is elegantly decorated, the staff are all very friendly and accommodating.
Now for the food... perfectly prepared and so delicious. We had the melt-in-your-mouth beef short ribs atop creamy mashed potatoes and drizzled with a light sauce and perfectly cooked crunchy veggies. Our friend had the salmon kabobs which she said were cooked perfectly and delicious. Our other friends had the Chilean sea bass which was delicate and tasty.
Who can pass up a good quality dessert? Not me! The molten lava cake was moist, light, chocolaty and delectable! We also had the apple 'pie' a la mode which was tart and sweet, flaky and delicious. Next up was the blueberry bread pudding topped with creamy vanilla ice cream: the raspberry coulis they drizzled on top was so fruity and fresh, the bread pudding was moist and oh so good.
I had a mojito and I must say that I appreciated the fresh mint in my drink. Many times I order this drink at other establishments and the mint is old. But not here!
If you are in Fresno this is the place to enjoy a quality, delectable meal!
