Service was friendly and amazing, their strawberry lemonade was the perfect thirst quencher for this heat. I got the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, and while it was all right, the texture of the thick pickle slices and the flavor overpowered the flavor of the charred pulled pork and other ingredients. Minus the pickles, it was a great sandwich. Their corn bread has got to be hands down the best corn bread I've ever eaten at a restaurant ever, and their honey butter or whatever it is they use is sweet, yet flavorful, and compliments the corn bread perfectly. The bacon and cheese fries came out looking good, and tasted even better than they looked! You can pour the cheese on top yourself, or dip as you please. I am unsure what kind of cheese it is exactly, but it is the perfect cheese to pair with the bacon, without overpowering itself. The fries were evenly seasoned and made with a small crisp, so even though they had their toppings on, they did not get soggy for a while. My friend also had the Santa Ana steak and shrimp or whatever it's called, and the meat was amazing, but they used a type of seasoning that was way too powerful in the pepper area. So he scraped most of the seasoning off, and the meat was a 5/5 again. The atmosphere was busy, but lovely, with a welcoming vibe to it. When it gets busy, they hand you a buzzer, which makes everything easier, so you can step out until it is your turn. The prices were very affordable for the value of the food, and I definitely enjoy that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg for some delicious BBQ. I love coming to this place, and I can't wait to come back.

I got the BBQ Burger with the broccoli slaw and the husband got the fried chicken with mashed potatoes & pilaf and we shared. Everything was on point. Our server was very sweet, helpful & attentive, restaurant was clean. Left Very full & happy and leftovers (lunch tomorrow)

This is somewhat of an upscale BBQ joint, with a lively crowd on a Friday evening. The BBQ was excellent and the portions were plentiful. Nice beer selection, but I would have liked to see a better wine list. This is not a down and dirty hidden gem. It is big and upscale. A nice dining experience.

This was the third time I have eaten at Westwoods and I continue to not be disappointed. I was there at 7:45pm on a Wednesday and was taken to my table with out delay. The server was fantastic she had our drinks to us within 5 minutes of sitting down. The food is awesome I had the brisket burnt ends and they were amazing. It wasn't over sauced and the were cooked perfect.

I had made reservations for our group of 15. What magnificent service! Our placement within the restaurant was perfect, not crowded nor "in the corner". Our waitress was fun, kind, accommodating, and she enhanced our gathering.
The food was wonderful, as always.
I will use them again for our group luncheons.
