I've been to Shamus T Bones a few times now, and I've really enjoyed each meal. They have an extensive cocktail menu and full bar. They have a cocktail with lavender syrup that I love, but I substitute the gin for vodka. The pesto Parmesan oysters are very good, just mind the extremely hot plate. The chicken pesto pasta has been the dish that has grabbed me so far, I've had it a couple times now. The pasta is nicely al dente, the pesto sauce is amazing, and it comes with sprinkled pine nuts and two slices of garlic bread. Most dishes can have chicken or shrimp added for some extra protein. The ribeye steak is cooked to request, and has a delicious, sweet, fat. Steak prices can vary from around $35 to around $56, depending on the cut and size. Each table has a small menu with current steak prices. They also bring out a varied tray of desserts at the end of the meal, should you have room. Pasta available by the pound, to take home and cook. If you haven't been in before, ask for the TESLA COIL! 😉
Fantastic interior decoration with great ribs, and fantastic oysters. If you are lucky enough to sit by Chris he will let you know how he got to open this restaurant and create his own BBQ sauce. Beware of the Tesla coil!
Overnight in Eureka, and this was one of the places recommended by the hotel. Frankly, it's sensational. Perhaps the best burger I've ever tasted in my life, and the prime rib was delicious and cooked to perfection.
Not overly pricey for what you get either. Well worth a visit.
I would give a 4.5 rating if allowed. This is THE best cornbread muffin I have EVER had. The 4.5 rating is given because a place that serves a muffin that good should not be putting out a mediocore mac-n- cheese. I had the dry aged ribeye and the wife had the t bone, both were delicious and tender. The ribeye was a top 5 for me, and that's the only cut I eat and I've had it in restaurants across the U.S. There's an oak pit and an oak grill, the pit is a smoker, they both use oak wood. As a bonus there is a nice view of the bay.
Everything was delicious. We got to celebrate my brother and sister in laws wedding nuptials here with an absolutely amazing dinner. I can't wait to drive the 6 hours to visit when my baby niece gets here and we'll be back to celebrate that too. And next time I'll grab a steak skewers
