“Delicious food and friendly atmosphere! The first time I went, I got the habanero mango shrimp burrito and I was totally blown away. I took my partner there for breakfast and we loved the pancakes and french toast, though we hope they'll add some more traditional Mexican breakfast items to the menu. Glad to have them in the neighborhood!”

“I went to HBB a few weeks ago for the first time because I had heard they had good burger. That I day I picked the Asada tacos and they were great! I went back yesterday 8/2/23 and ordered a burger and a cheese burger. I asked for limited sauce. I don't like the goo that the chain places use. And I got 2 great burgers! Overall well balanced but the star was the meat. It had a great real beef flavor. Rich and flavorful meat goes a long way. I think best beef burger I found so far in Humboldt! I suggest taking a bite immediately at pick up. I think you will sticking a few more in the tip jar. Support this place please!”

“First time here, it was great. You have to walk through the brewery to get to the food truck. We ordered the roasted pork tacos, the park platter, some french fries and donuts. The pork tacos are delicious! The park platter looked fresh and flavorful, I didn't try it, but was told it was a good dish. The donuts are a must! Go try these donuts! Fluffy, perfectly fried dough balls of yum!!!”

“Super tasty! I'm a pescetarian and there are always at least a couple of menu items for me - fried rice and a noodle soup with miso base. I'm satisfied! My spouse eats meat and had loved everything from this food truck so far. The specials are exciting to augment the regular menu items, too. Thank you!”

“We got a variety of tacos (pastor, pollo adobado, and one I can’t remember). All were phenomenal! The pastor is served with the option of grilled pineapple which was fresh and sweet. Warm, homemade chips and an excellent salsa bar. Very friendly staff!”

“Ritz was great!! Tried it with coworkers and went back with friends, I really recommend their flautas and the mixed appetizer platter- they house make their tortillas & pasta in house too!! If you go in with larger parties it's not easy for them to seat you together without being a little squished, and usually you have to ask for more silverware (each table gets set with 2 napkins with a fork each) but the staff are super kind about making accommodations!! I can never tell if it's open because of how the doors are solid (no windows) but the inside is super inviting!! My friends say the music playing is too random but I don't have a problem with it. Again, the workers are super nice. They have an entry with stairs, and one that is wide & wheelchair accessible, as well as the tables are wheelchair accessible (I'm not sure about the bathrooms). Will definitely be going here again!!”

“Ordered takeout on the app. Was ready before I got there, super fast. The turkey and ham is excellent. The bread is nice and crispy and soft inside plenty of meat and just a perfect ratio of veggies that I asked for. Definitely will be going here again. Watch out Subway!”

“This is the best Mexican food I've had in Humboldt county by far. The pastor and birria are both excellent. The Chile relleno burrito is the best I've ever had. The Torta Chilanga and tripas street tacos are also favorites of mine. I've been here over a dozen times since they opened and everything has been good. Good prices too.”

“The cherry white cheddar burger! The flavor, the texture, the authenticity. Best burger I’ve ever tasted, just get it, you will not regret it.”

“Loved it! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The burger I had was delicious! It was a perfect little stop. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We ate inside because it was a little chilly outside. There are restrooms inside too. Great place to eat!!”

“I had Fettuccine Frutti De Mare pan-fried cod, prawns, shrimp, mushrooms, garlic, wine & butter sauce, ate most of the generous portions of seafood at the restaurant. I couldn't eat it all & it was even better the next day! I heated in a pan instead of killing it in the microwave, the fresh pasta is to die for! The service by the owners and their beautiful family was perfect. Not only does this family know how to cook they know how to make a great cocktail!”

“I have never before in my life experienced the absolute life changing experience that was the smash burger here. It is the best burger I have ever had, and now my dreams are haunted with the taste I can only get here. Please you must try this food, I can't be the only one to realize the absolute magnitude of how good this burger is. Get it with the garlic fries. Addition: I came back to make sure I was being accurate with my description. It still holds up as the best burger I've ever had, the pickles are made in house and sliced thin, the seasoning salt is made in house, even my kid that hates all food loves it here.”

“Been in several times and had pretty much the same experience each time. Delicious food and friendly servers. Food takes a bit of time so don't be in a hurry. The Chicken wraps are possibly the best deal in town, $7-8 and fully loaded with flavor. I usually get the caesar but got the pesto one with goat cheese (chevre) and veggies. Very fresh, packed and surprisingly, I was able to finish it, it was so good. Great selection of tap and other. I haven't tried the pizzas yet but here they are outstanding. Well done, keep it up.”

“Open at 7, so this is an early start place with great service and items. Bread, eggs, chorizo and pastries with an excellent bear claw with real marzipan served in brown paper trays, bags and napkins. Espresso and three hot pots of coffee self serve in paper cups. Cultural icons, smooth jazz and old brick walls make up the ambiance. Good options for most diets.”

“Came here for lunch and was moved enough to write a review. The decor is excellent down to the detail. It may be more up my alley, but I think several people would appreciate the ambiance of this restaurant. Please see pictures. Food was 4stars. Not bad, but nothing close to the feel of the restaurant. Give it a try!”

“I went to dinner at the Oberon restaurant in Eureka, CA. The restaurant is very beautiful, and I loved the decoration. Both my wife and I ordered New York steaks. They were great, very juiced and flavored. We topped our steaks with melted cheese. The restaurant does not have parking, so you need to find one in the street (this was not an issue, as there was plenty of empty spaces nearby). For desert we ordered a crème brûlée; it was very good. The only reason I do not give 5 starts is due the service, our waitress was great, but there was not enough staff, so we needed to wait a little bit to be seated and to get our orders. If you love steaks I highly recommend this place.”

“We ate here for the first time last night. We weren’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by what we ordered. The sautéed veggies is NOT what you would think, it’s more of a stew that paired deliciously with rice and peas. I got it with the fried chicken and thought I’d be getting something “simple” but instead it was perfectly cooked , very moist and was uniquely seasoned. My husband got the curry chicken rice bowl and ate nearly the whole thing (he’s not a huge eater). We have had curry chicken many times before but the flavors of this one was different. Both plates were very flavorful, as well as their award winning grilled oysters that we had for appetizer. Meals were large portions that we took home to have for lunch today. And for non-alcoholic drinks- I had the hibiscus and my husband the guava. They were both very good, though I added more water to mine (I like my drinks not too sweet and watered down but that’s a personal preference). Both of our servers were very friendly and prompt, but one in particular who was very descriptive with other dishes on the menu-where the oysters and fish came from, how they’re cooked, portions (to share or individual). Sadly we did not catch her name but she is the reason we now want to keep coming back to try everything they have at least once. She even drew characters on our to-go box! We love to eat out and try different foods, but if you’re thinking of going somewhere for lunch or dinner and are wanting something hearty with lots of flavor, this is the place to visit. Oh, & don’t forget their plantains. You think you know what you’re getting until you take your first bite!”

“We had a good experience at the Bayfront. With the location being on the water front there is a great view. They have a large selection of sushi options, even vegetarian rolls and entree items such as seafood pastas and chicken teriyaki. Service was quick and very kind.”

“Good local spot that came up when I searched Google for “steak”. Good portion size, flavorful. Food was served quick by gracious staff. Local beers on the menu… another plus. Had the steak dinner with prawns/shrimp. All was cooked right for my pallet, nothing was overdone or dry. Too many places don’t understand what a “medium rare” steak is supposed to be.. they got it right here. Will be back.”

“Amazing food, and a wonderful atmosphere. The burgers are very good, and crispy fries. The bacon is way too crispy, but the eggs, and waffles are delicious. And the spuds are bussin too. I highly recommend this place if you need some breakfast for a fast break”
