(July 22, 2023, 4:03 am)I loved 6th and E, so was pretty excited to see their new location as “The Hood”.
Starting off with the bad, the tall tables in the center of the main room are so so so uncomfortable. The stools are at an awkward height and get painful after a while. My group ended up leaving early and getting the food to go as we were all standing instead of sitting on the stools after 30 mins waiting. I would recommend asking for different seats if you go there, another group seated at those tables asked to move to a both while we were waiting. I hope the restaurant can get more comfortable seating for these tables because the atmosphere beside that is great.
The food is super good though. Love their appetizers, especially the fried pickles. The garlic mushroom chicken pasta was delicious as well.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant, just be careful where you sit. -
