Locha's Mexican Restaurant

This restaurant has a good atmosphere, fast, and excellent service. The agua de Jamaica was not too bitter and not too sweet, just the perfect amount of sweetness which tasted really good. I am vegan and ordered a veggie burrito which they made the accommodations for my dietary restrictions and my preferences by subbing the flour tortilla for corn tortillas. The tortillas are made by hand and the flour tortillas do have lard so they gave me the option for corn tortillas, which do not. Food was a nice big portion and very filling.

For starters, I’ve never seen such a cute restaurant. Very vibrant colors and decor! We were seated quickly and had our orders taken fairly quickly as well.
The chips themselves are delicious, I couldn’t stop eating them!
The staff is super friendly and checked in on us a few times.
Food was super filling and really authentic! Recommend for anyone craving Mexican food in the area

Best Mexican restaurant in all of Humboldt. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Oh the mango margarita is to die for, but the food is true Medical cuisine, NOT Americanized. This will be my go to place to go. Nice ride from Eureka to Fortuna anyway, right?

Anyone in Humboldt county that likes mexican food needs to go to Locha's in Fortuna ASAP. These Chile rellenos with fresh handmade tortillas felt like dinner at my mom’s. Most authentically delicious Mexican food restaurant I’ve been to this side of San Diego.

Didn't think we needed another Mexican restaurant in town but this may actually be the best. Everything was amazing but the star was the relleno. Nothing was heavy or greasy but full of authentic flavor. Great prices and definitely will be back 👍
