Taqueria Las Palmas

A staple for every trip our family makes to Bishop. You will not find a better old school Mexican Restaurant, complete with all the classics. Every dish I have had has been exceptional and the owner has treated us like family everytime we go there. This weekend we had a party of 15 people and great times were had by all. The carnitas plate was super delicious as they cook it to almost a hash, which provides awesome texture and flavor. We will continue to return for great food and great times.

Large portions. I mean huge portions. Great service. Small Town care for the people and place. If you're passing through give them a few minutes. They're a small but effective team. Ask them for their tequila recommendations. They know their agave.

The food was delicious. Had just enough time to eat a basket of chips and salsa and the food arrived. I was back on the road within 20 minutes .

Best Mexican food I had in years! Family owned, family recipes, owner was down to earth.. loved this place!
