We all made it! I had one of the best times of my life! I did not think I was going to make it up the Mountaineer's Route on Whitney, but Kurt and his team were patient and kind and diligently pushed me the entire way. I felt safe at all times. I would highly recommend SMI when you want to do something great for yourself!

Liz was our guide on a climb we arranged to help us prepare for Whitney in a few weeks. She was helpful, encouraging, knowledgeable and experienced. Her guidance and insight really helped us get ready for our next climb. We are going back and completely trust Kurt and team to guide us to “new heights” in a beautiful environment.

This was my 1st climb with Sierra Mountaineering. I cannot say enough good about my experience!! From the start of inquiring about a winter climb of Mt Whitney I tend to ask lots of questions, it was an Awesome experience. Kurt and the others I delt with were over the top helpful!! Advised me on what would be the best airport to fly into and where to stay in Lone Pine before and after the climb. I've done some climbing so I have my gear but they would've had that for me too. The guide we had , Hannah, was incredible!! Very hard worker , the best personality to keep us entertained and motivated and safe sand cooked us pretty spectacular meals at night. I would , Without a doubt highly recommend climbing with Sierra Mountaineering!!! I plan to round up a couple friends and go back again!! Thank you Kurt and Sierra Mountaineering!!🗻🇺🇸

My group found Sierra Mountaineering International to lead a trip to summit Mount Whitney via the mountaineers route. No member of my group had climbed Whitney before and had no idea what to expect. Kurt Wedberg was our guide, let's just say +A performance on his part. He had complete knowledge of the route and confidently lead the way. He aloud for adequate rest and knew when to keep pushing us. He gave many tips to help us along the way. He also shared many factoids about the Sierras and the route we were taking, and when probed he shared details about his more grandiose climbs. There was never a dull moment on the climb; between the views and the interesting discussions I was entertained the whole time. If you are a first time climber or an experienced one, the guides at SMI do a great job at making sure the trip goes smoothly. I highly recommend SMI to any adventurer.
