Mt Whitney Restaurant

After hiking all day we stopped in and got a burger and my wife got beef tip with pasta. Unfortunately we did not think the food was great. Service was about the same. I really don’t like to give reviews less than four stars and don’t normally do so. There wasn’t anything really bad, it just wasn’t great. The atmosphere was really nice and enjoyed looking at all the movie star photos.

Went in for late dinner we were greeted with a friendly host who seated us and took our drink order. The waitress arrived shortly after to take our order and was very attentive. The food arrived quickly and hot which for me is very important. If it's supposed to be hot it should be ant it was. Overall I highly recommend this eatery.

What a charming place! Lots of humor in the signs on the wall. Staff is attentive and considerate. Portions are generous. Fresh, crisp salads. Interesting chicken soup. Unusual variety of meats - beef, venison, ostrich, and more.

A group of 5 of us had just came back from hiking Mt. Whitney, and were hoping to celebrate big time before heading out. We all agreed that the breakfast was pretty crummy, but they might have better lunch and dinner stuff. The pics on the walls are pretty awesome though.
