Great service and even better food. Lots of gluten free options, just ask the server (although they do not have a dedicated dryer for gf). Drinks are awesome. Large menu with something for everyone.

This is my go to restaurant while in Bakersfield. They've got a good happy hour menu and even better full menu. My favorite tacos are the blackened fish tacos with lettuce wrap instead of a tortilla. Great micheladas as well. Service is also fast which is much appreciated when on a lunch break.

Love this place! Camino Real is a well respected establishment in Bakersfield. Food is so amazing. I've tried several dishes here and have never been disappointed. What I love most about this place is how creative they get with traditional entrees. The Instagram page is super active always posting about new dishes and specials.

If you're looking for traditional/authentic, this is not your restaurant. But if you're looking for something "modern" or something that incorporates tastes from other cultures, you're in the right place. The varied menu (which includes pastas) is interesting and offers many different side choices, including "street corn.". We chose to stay close to traditional and ordered the enchilada suizas with sides of black beans and grilled vegetables. Great flavors blended together. Next time we'll ask for fewer onions in the veggies. The salsa was outstanding, served with warm chips. It was happy hour, but the selection of beers was limited to three on-tap choices, and only one of them was a Mexican beer. Not so happy, I had to send it back and order from the menu at $5 a bottle. Service was friendly and efficient.

The food was delicious, I had the 'not fish tacos' and my boyfriend had boom pow shrimp. So tasty one of the best meals we've had and large portions at a reasonable price. Also the lemonade was like homemade and came in a big jar. Would definitely visit again if we were in the area.
