    Food is delicious. I got a torta cubana and its BIG and delicious. My husband got the pampaso and he's was also delicious. Expect to pay $10 per torta. Overall, recommend this place to anyone who wants to try more of than authentic Mexican food.

    I've been looking for a cemita poblana forever (so hard to find in California but I was introduced to it in Mexico City) so I decided to check out this place. I knew this place would be good because they had a bunch of authentic Mexican dishes that are off the beaten path but popular in Mexico City.

    Guy at the counter was super nice. Got a cemita and a pambazo; both were delicious! The cemita had tons of papalo leaves which have a very distinct flavor that I love. It also came with Oaxacan cheese and chipotle peppers that were the best I've had. The pambazo was super flavorful with potatoes, chorizo, and crema and actually was my favorite of the two.

    Definitely want to try the tlayuda and the barbacoa next time I stop in Bakersfield.
