    Fabulous and tasty food, friendly staff, very clean. Can I say how much I love Bakersfield's extensive vegan community? And plenty of my non-vegan friends love Hen's Roost too!

    Even vegans need comfort food and The Hens Roost nails it. The prices are great, the quantities match it, and the staff are genuine and kind.

    Recommendations: Milkshakes (Summer Only), $1 Taco Tuesdays, Buffalo "Chicken" Sandwich, Thai Fries

    As an added bonus, while there, you can pick up some locally sourced and produces nut butters, made by the owner and staff of Hens Roost.

    BEST vegan restaurant EVER. No exaggeration!! Super good prices for super amazing food.. If i lived in Bakersfield I'd eat here so much more often. Please if your in the area looking for a bite, i highly recommend this place!!! Vegan or not!!!

    First time eating at The Hens Roost today for lunch. It is absolutely amazing! I ordered the Thai Fries and Impossible Burger to split with my grandma she couldnt believe it wasnt meat. The flavors for the fries are explosive the burger is amazing definitely my new go to spot. Prices are great for fresh healthy option. Atmosphere is friendly everyone is awesome Lexi was helpful and great and its a nice little place to chill. I highly recommend going there even if your not Vegan just looking for something new with great flavors totally worth it.
