We did some shopping after & I picked up the cutest Tea mug. I have also attended other events here, like the Paint Nights, and Mothers Day Brunch. “Beautiful interior, I'm happy there's a new Starbucks I can go to. I can sit there for hours doing my own thing. Employees are friendly and are fast for making the order. The reason why it's not 5 stars is because the employees talks and laugh very loud that disturb customers who want to work on their project. I could hear them even when I had my earphone on with loud music. There were some customers with their book/laptop in the store when I walked in. I ordered my coffee, put on my earphone and started working on my stuff. There were no customer after me for a while so they started talking. Then I notice other customers started leaving one by one until there's only me. After a while, some other customers walked in, order and sat down, but they didn't stayed long either. The employees there are rather young and energetic, it's a good thing and it's understandable that people talk all the time. But please, keep your voice down. There are people who go to Starbucks for the ambiance and then work on something. Ps. If possible, the music can be jazz or some low key music rather than pop music.”

“The fried rice, pad Thai, and pad kra pow tofu, are delicious. Cheaper than Saigon Flavor. But I enjoyed their lunch time buffet from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., which has a lot of selections. The owner knew that I did not eat chicken, beef, or pork, so she made me a special curry that has no meat so I can dunk the noodles and veggies from the buffet bar. Was very thoughtful. For dessert, I like the coconut milk rice pudding.”

“The kids and I went in tonight and I left my keys and sunglasses on the table to let them knkw we are still there while playing games. They had salad and wings to finish but our table was cleaned. They offered to remake wings for us but I declined its was just a few. Not a big deal, but I believe a manager caught us out the door and gave us great coupons for next time. Great service and great food. They truly care about your experience.”

Update: The last two times I went, the shrimp was undercooked. The soda fountain was still watery. For the price, I'd expect more. You're definitely paying a premium because it's the only steakhouse in Ridgecrest.”

“I love their Doubble Del Cheeseburgers with shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, minced onion and secret sauce. They also have very good combo burritos and their crunchy Del Tacos are very good. I would have given 5 stars but they don't keep the kitchen floor floor behind the counter clean. A lot of times I see food, fries, wrappers, etc. all over the kitchen floor when I go inside to order. “Sorry for the late review time just seems to fly. My girlfriend and I came to the restaurant for our 1 year dating anniversary on 4/17; which also coincidentally was Easter Sunday. We also came for our very first date making this occasion all the more special for us. We had a tremendous time the food was amazing. I asked if they’d decorate the table bc of the occasion and they did oblige my request. I’m grateful for that as well. She had the beef ravioli and I had the steak dinner. Although there was a discrepancy with our order at first the owner Kevin came out and spoke with us and apologized which actually made the meal all that more enjoyable. They truly care about their customers in my humble opinion. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal. And I look forward to returning next 4/17 for another anniversary dinner!”

“Great little hole in the wall place to eat. It is so cool when you walk in there it is like walking into a time capsule where everything got stuck in the 70's. The food is amazing I had the burger when I went and my mother had the tuna melt the food was amazing. Highly recommend this place if your into classic diner food. Make sure to bring cash with you though it is a cash only establishment!”
