    I wish I could give this place a better rating. The servers were nice. The restaurant homey and clean. But the food was the most bland I've ever tasted. Even the bacon and bread were lacking in flavor. I can't for the life of me figure out how that can be done.

    Nice servers! My husband ordered a chili-size, chili was homemade and very tasty. The fries were very crispy and really good. I was jealous but grateful he shared. I ordered shredded beef tacos and they were okay. I should've ordered the beef plate with gravy, which is one of their specials, as I saw the plate being served at another table and looked delicious. The portions were more than enough. I told my husband that chili-size was worth another 2 hour drive!!
