“I live around the corner and it is close to go to. The workers are nice most of the time when they get to know you. They are always busy and they also have there hands full with all the homeless people who hangout there. Everyone outside either ask for spare change or a cigarette. Workers refer to the vagrants as special people. Only in Oildale are there Special people. The workers try hard to keep it clean but there is alot of shop lifters that they need to keep there eyes on at all time. It's a ok place to go . I feel sorry for the workers the deserve a raise for all that they put up with..”

They have a decent amount of food and drink, however, this location has been shut down for health concerns in the past. Not the ultimate one-stop, as there are many less than 1000 feet away just as competitive, but a good station nonetheless.”

“Reading Cinemas is a good theater, probably the busiest theater in Bakersfield. The price of a GA ticket is fairly priced, but if you can try to make a matinee showing to save some money. Snacks are expensive, I feel like I am dumping my wallet for a small popcorn, so if your hungry try to eat before. Now for the rooms, they were comfy and and had some space, but if you go see a busy movie expect to move your legs if someone has to pass as their is not a lot of in aisle walking space. One of things I really don't like is having to pick a seat before even going into a theater, maybe some might like this but it's not for me. Staff is always courteous and friendly.”

“Marley (the assistant manager) is great. The older lady who usually works alongside her is fabulous. The care they take in the preparation of the sandwiches is evident. The others all seem to need varying degrees of additional assistance or counseling before they're really ready to face the public. Don't misconstrue this! They're not bad or nasty or anything! Most of them seem to be trying and I'm sure they're all nice kids. Sorry, but Marley and the older lady have me spoiled. If I was running the place, I'd have Marley working side-by-side with the newer staff and teaching them the all the tricks. Yeah, lousy deal for her, but I'd pay her lots more (an excellent reason why my sandwich shop would probably go broke).”

“So contemptuous gas station/store. Workers at circle K keeps so clean and acts like so peacefully ocd. Wow. I love it. Also hand sanitizer is set for customers enter and get some hand sanitizers on their hands before getting something what they like to have. Coffee tastes so simply humble with any different creams provided. Very clear visual to view food and drink organized. So quiet when few customers come. I see females work not men. Maybe few men which I so not see at day. Who know. Most time when females work. Good facial expressions, not give such attuide.”

“2nd time coming here. First time eating inside. I was immediately greeted with hellos and welcomes. Watching the staff they even watch when people are coming so they know to greet new guests. That a nice touch. Everyone of the staff was super friendly. The atmosphere in the dining area feels like a party. 3 disco balls spinning while music plays overhead. Probably not suited for people who want a quiet experience. Staff even asked to bus my plate, again nice touch, but I’m good. I recommend this place! Place looks great! Feels fresh and “Awesome Staff” I Hope it’s like for a while. I will be back. Oh and the special sauce is primo!”
