“Delicious food and familiar with gluten allergy. When I walked in the manager informed me that the chef could handle any allergy needs. This was reassuring. The hostess gave me a vegan menu which I found worrisome. I ordered a New York. It was a large cut, cooked perfectly, and flavorful. The sides were fine. The salad was served on the plate with the hot food so it got a bit wilted. The green salad was just greens - very basic. We chose balsamic dressing which was candy sweet. Overall the meat was great, the sides ok, the salad needed improvement.”

Well then charge us. What does one ounce of ketchup cost? How about the mango sauce for the terrific fried chicken? We asked for a sauce to take home with the leftovers. This is when she mentioned the possible charge! So everything was great even most of the service!”

“We got a Mamma Mia gift card as Christmas gift and decided to go there on a Friday night. The place was packed. We didn't make a reservation but the waitstaff who greeted us managed to give us a table quickly. There were lots of people coming in groups to celebrate birthdays. The food was excellent! We ordered lamb chop and pork chop and they didn't disappoint. The desserts - lemon cake and gelato - were superb, too. Truly one of the best restaurants in Bakersfield! We'd surely go to this place again for date nights.”

“Love the food here. So far I've tried the seafood bowl, lamb bowl and spicy beef bowl, they are all really good. The spicy beef bowl is my favorite, it is delicious! I also love the egg rolls, they are huge and tasty. I did get to try some orange chicken the other day too, it was good stuff. Didn't have to wait very long, the food came up pretty quick and the server is very nice. I'll be back to try more. :)”

“I love Uricchio's and have for years. The restaurant is small, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in every other aspect. The food is amazing, probably the best Italian food in Bakersfield. They are family-friendly, and even pet-friendly on the patio. Although the restaurant can get pretty packed and a little noisy during peak hours, don't let that dissuade you from making your reservations. They are well worth a visit.”
