Din Tai Fung

Everything was amazing. The staff is happy to ask any questions you have. The only downside is the wait time, but it's so worth it!

They have top notch dim sum. Most of their other food is very good too. You can't go wrong with DinTaiFung, but wait time is definitely a factor, so take that into account.

It was a 45 minute wait time and I can say it was well worth it and I would do it again. I went in from Phoenix and was browsing for a place to eat when I came across this restaurant. It had great reviews so we gave it a shot and was not disappointed. Customer service was fantastic and fast despite the waiting time to be seated. We ordered the original bao, pork soup, ribs, dumplings and fried rice. We left satisfied and we'll be coming back when we're in town.

I still love the first Din Tai to open in Arcadia in a mini-mall on Baldwin Ave. I don't know what it is about their tiny juicy dumplings but I always end up eating 2 entire bamboo steamers (20 dumplings). They are some of the best juicy dumplings I've ever had anywhere. Service is nice and fast and they bring you a new tray when they see you've finished the last one so they're always hot, fresh and right from the steamer. Some places bring your entire order out to you at once, allowing some dumplings to get cool. It's a little more expensive than others but they're always consistent and excellent. I believe their Hong Kong restaurant is Michelin star rated.

As always, this is the standard by which all noodle restaurants should be judged.
I crave the spicy dumplings. The noodles are sublime, and the cucumber salad is refreshing.
A week doesn't go by without Din Tai Fung popping into my head.
The best service and the best food.
There simply is no place better.
