Dumpling House

This is one of my favorite dumpling restaurants in the SGV. Dont mistaken the name and only try the dumplings - their beef noodles, hand-pulled pancake, and string tofu and pork are some of my favorite dishes here.

Small business with a good variety of Taiwanese dishes. Came around 6pm on a weekend and didn't have to wait for a table - there was definitely a wait when we were leaving. They offer a free Green Onion Pancake with Yelp check in but the pancake was pretty plain and lacking of green onions. Service was ok - they always kindly responded to our requests for a fork, take home container, and extra broth to our Pickled Cabbage and Pork soup (which was tasty!), but there wasn't any initiation of hospitality. Small shop at a convenient location with easy parking and they accept credit card.

I've only ordered take out from here. But from my experience, the staff isn't the friendliest nor are they rude. The service is pretty quick. I only order dumplings from here, and they make it fresh, so it can take up to 30 minutes to get my food. Which isn't bad at all. They always get my order right, even on days where I think the language barrier might have messed things up. And the food has always been piping hot and yummy.

It has become a new tradition: visit Huntington Library & Gardens, or hike the Eaton Canyon trail, or Angeles National Forest, and then eat at this Dumpling House. Love the food, prices, and service. No frills. Wish it were closer to home. We need a Dumpling House by Long Beach, Westminster, or Garden Grove, please!
