BOMBAY SWEETS

Samosas were good but the remaining food was not upto the mark Chile curry was old and gulabjamun tasted very old .

Bombay Sweets and Snacks is an Indian restaurant in Artesia, CA. Sweets and other Indian vegetarian food are sold here. The food is average, especially the samosas and sweets. But the price is a bit expensive considering both the quality and quantity of the food. Also, the service is not the best, to the point of seeming unfriendly. It seems that many other people had the same experience. I guess they would do better business if they improved the way they interacted with the customers.

Delicious fresh samosas, great chutneys, and the desserts were not overly sweet (like I tend to find laddos and barfis)! We took things to go and they were nicely packaged and tasted great when we got home. Not sure what all the bad reviews were for as everything looked great and there were plenty of people there (mostly Indian). We would definitely try this place again in the future.

We came in around 11:30 and ordered the Chaat special and the Ragra samosa. It took a little bit of time to prepare, but it was well worth the wait. Both were very delicious and filling for a fair price of $10 total.
The atmosphere itself is rather nice and very clean in appearance. Because it is a snack shop, you have a wonderful mixture of delicious smells.
