Dim Sum Hut

Address: 17901 Pioneer Blvd Unit J, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“Wow awesome spot. Finally quick to go dim sum in Cerritos with very authentic flavors. Perfect crusts on the pastries and delicious savory flavors for all the meats. Don't even get me started on the sticky rice. It felt like my mom's home cooking made with love.”

Happy Bee Kitchen

Address: 17901 Pioneer Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“My family and I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant since the closing of Ten Ten and I’m pretty sure this is it. All the food is fresh and seasoned well, the staff is super friendly and welcoming, and everything is offered at a great price. The bitter melon with beef in black bean sauce was superior and that’s a hard dish to pull off. Would recommend 10/10”

Katrina's Mexican Kitchen

Address: 18001 Pioneer Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“Delightful restaurant! Food is fantastic. It's one of the best chicken burritos I now call my new love. Must use caution, addictive, I can't go more than 3 days without it. Lol. Tacos fantastic too!”

Ramen Zuru

Address: 17801 Pioneer Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“Small little ramen house. We walked in a little past 12:30 on a weekday and the place was pretty slow, so we got food pretty fast. Food was generally good, but… Tonkatsu Ramen Broth is my thing… and the broth here didn’t really feel like 18-hour boiled bone soup, and kinda greasy. As toppings, there were 2 chasu pieces, spinach, bean sprouts, eggs (could have been marinated longer), and dry nori. Just OK. Takoyaki Octopus balls looked SOO good. Topping looked great and it came out hot and smelling delicious. Unfortunately it was very batter heavy (though the batter was tasty), with very small portions of octopus inside. Rice w chasu Definitely tastier chasu than the one in the ramen (sad, since it is, after all, a ramen house). And deliciously seasoned. My favorite dish here. We made a mess with the water (sorry!) cuz the water container top fell off. Remember to hold on to the lid when pouring water.”

Mekeni Pinoy's Pride

Address: 18152 Pioneer Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“The restaurant at first glance was nice. The service was super slow. Once they seated us they handed us menus but no explanations and dashed off. We couldn't figure out who our actual server was because we had different people approach our table. When we finally got our food order the portions were small disappointing - none of them came with rice! We had to order rice a la cart! Another eating delay..... I can say the food was good and presented nicely, but the process don't match the experience.”

Changan Kitchen

Address: 17713 Pioneer Blvd C, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“Ordered the Cut Hand Ripped Noodles with stewed lamb. It is just as good as he Ontario location. While this location isn't as nice and is located in the 99 Ranch Market food court, it is definitely just as good. I highly recommend coming here for some great authentic Chinese food. There was plenty of seating in the food court area.”

Power grill

Address: 11809 Artesia Blvd unit b, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

Nilly's Burgers

Address: 17603 Pioneer Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“Took my neighbors to check out this local spot and we're still talking about it days later. Cool little hole in the wall that clearly values quality over quantity. The burgers are made fresh and the chili cheese fries are super tasty. The prices are fair and the food is delicious, looking forward to returning to try the rest of the menu.”

Los Consomes

Address: 17705 Pioneer Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“I ordered a Caldo De Res and it was soooo good! The salsa for the chips was absolutely delicious as well”

Marlin Restaurant- Mexican & Seafood

Address: 17806 Pioneer Blvd #103, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“On my way to meeting and mapped restaurants in the area. The higher reviews brought me here, and it was a great decision! I got the Costa azul plate, I ate it all - generally I don't finish beans and rice, but they were that good. I ordered a shrimp taco too, OMG - will come back to explore the shrimp and gobernador. The batter on the fish taco was amazing! Well now I'm having the coco flan...never had one before...it's awesome. Despite so much I've just eaten, the food hasn't been heavy. They're using great ingredients”

Oaxaca Village Restaurant

Address: 11824 1/2 Artesia Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Meal delivery Meal takeaway Restaurant

“The staff were polite and very accommodating. We had enchilada de mole, 1 taco de barbacoa, chilaquiles verdes con huevo, starter - 3 fried chicken taquitos, 1 guava drink (w mescal), 1 cucumber water, 1 cafe de olla. We took home a delicious flan. The food was delicious. I can’t say much about the ambiance… when we got there it was fairly empty, but was half way full when we left. For us the atmosphere was great. We didn’t have any problems with service or food. The prices seem a bit on the pricy side, but the food is good and made fresh. They are a fairly new restaurant, so maybe they just need to get better providers w better pricing. They are also not a chain restaurant, so happy to support local business. Will definitely be coming back.”

Hanmi Korean Restaurant

Address: 18009 Norwalk Blvd B, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Very good traditional Korean food. You won't find any weird fusion food here, just good traditional food. Service is excellent and staff is very friendly and attentive.”

Bruster's Real Ice Cream

Address: 12246 Artesia Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Bakery Restaurant

“I was looking for a great dessert spot and this spot delivered. I had three scoops of pineapple coconut, chocolate chip and their pistachio. The best one was their pistachio which I think was the best version I’ve had from any ice cream spot. Solid customer service and a great ice cream for a hot day. I’d definitely come back again to try their other flavors.”

Pelicana Chicken Artesia

Address: 11710 South St #104, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“I really wanted to try this place after hearing it was the “best chicken from Korea”. It wasn’t specifically on the menu, but I was able to try both the crispy chicken and the chicken with the signature sauce, I ordered the 18 piece and it was $1 extra to split it half-half. Now, the chicken is pretty good, but in my opinion it might not be the absolute best KFC. There’s some serious contenders out there, and I personally enjoy those more. More about the chicken though. The signature sauce is some sort of soy-garlic sauce with a hint of cinnamon, which was pretty good: but I liked the sauce-less one better.”

Bakers & Baristas

Address: 11700 South St, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Cafe Bakery Restaurant

“This place has a weird business model but they have well crafted food. Came for brunch and was pleased with the flavors and amount of veggies and flavors in my bowl. My partner got avocado toast and thought it was delicious. I've been here after their brunch hours for drinks and dessert many times. Love the ambiance of the place. Don't love their cakes but that's personal texture preference.”

Bite Mi Asian Kitchen

Address: 11660 South St Suite 104, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I visited to try their banh mi sandwiches and have ordered the baked chicken ($7.50), The Classic ($7.50) banh mis, and the Spicy Chicken & Egg Puff ($2.50) pastry. I included all the usual toppings except with mayo on the side for the banh mi. I enjoyed every single ingredient in it - French baguette was soft, the picked carrots and daikons, slices cucumbers, cilantro, jalapeno, and proteins. Tasted fresh and my fav was def the pickled veggies. Green onions were jncluded in the online ordering process but didn't see it. No worries; the pickled veggies saved the day. And I can eat two of them puff pastries as an appetizer; cheese, eggs, chicken patty(?), warm and greasy. Lot's of flavor to it. The banh mi quality is well above Lee's Sandwich. You get what you pay for. The order came with a free 20oz premium coffee card. A good reason to return soon”

Dave's Hot Chicken

Address: 11615 South St, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“I've tried this place multiple times now, and this place is pretty decent. The prices are a bit better than the other hot chicken places around this area. The sides were a bit of a disappointment. I wanted to try them, because the menu is actually pretty barebones, but they were underwhelming. For the price, the portions were smaller than expected. The kale slaw was really not the jam. You should either really like kale and mayo or want a "healthier" cole slaw. The cheese they use on the cheese fries is like Velveeta, not real cheese. I would recommend normal fries over the cheese option. The Mac and cheese similarly left a lot to be desired. The cheese they use here is just not good. In fact, I would avoid all the cheese options here. The sauce I am not a fan of. It does not add very much flavour, just a sweeter thousand island sauce. I also don't recommend it. I prefer ketchup, just for the fries, but you don't really need it. I would really prefer a vinegar hot sauce if they had it. The fries and chicken is seasoned very well, and I was impressed with how well the chicken was fried. The inside was juicy, and the outside was crispy. It was pretty perfect. I got "hot", which isn't really spicy, just enough to not have a bad time in the restroom later. The bread they use for their buns is like a King's Hawaiian roll- soft and sweet. I like mine with extra pickles (no extra charge). The pickles are not sweet, which is great, but also not sour. I do like them sour, but it's enough that they aren't sweet. This place is not vegetarian/vegan-friendly in case it wasn't obvious. Overall, it's worth checking out their tenders and sliders. The quality of the chicken was surprisingly high, and the seasoning was on point. Leave the sides out, maybe grab a milkshake (haven't tried one of those).”

Poke Etc, Artesia

Address: 11660 South St Suite 110, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“This place was great. It was a little under $11 for a two choice plate. The poke tasted way more authentic than the other poke spots I've been to and so it has easily become my new favorite spot. My usual spot charges like $16 but it comes with a lot of extra stuff. Personally I enjoy this place a lot more as the poke reminded me of what I ate in Hawaii.”

Sam Woo Cafe

Address: 11688 South St #105, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“Well overall fantastic experience. Beautiful new shop where cha2o once was. Their prices are in line with others. Great drinks and dishes. Only the dim sum was lacking. Avoid the har gow, as you can see by the pics it is a small portion for what you get, and while I assume it was because of soft opening, the shrimp was fishy and reminded me of the frozen dim sum from the grocery store. Overall definitely come visit and try their good spare ribs dim sum and the tomato beef brisket dish. Both were great. Can’t wait to go back again.”

MIAN

Address: 11632 South St Ste 104, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“Absolutely delicious Chinese food. Sichuan dishes of all sorts. This place is on the Michelin guide, and has every right to be on there. One player that was outstanding is the deep fried mushrooms, so flavorful and delicious. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Great prices as well. Servers are very kind. Menu and ordering is modern, done on the site through a qr code.”

Crimson Coward

Address: 11938 1/2 South St, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“One of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had! I went with the medium spice, and by the time I was halfway through I was surely feeling the heat! I recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already 😋”

Hsiang Yuen Restaurant

Address: 12248 South St, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“This place has Chinese and Korean food. Came here for the Chinese food and ordered sweet and sour pork, broccoli & beef, and shrimp chow mein. 4/5 Taste - Food was good and was quickly served after ordering. Food came out hot and had good amount of flavor. Not a lot of saltiness which is good! You can always add more to your taste. Also, the pork had a nice crisp bite to it. 4/5 Price - At first glance, the price may seem high. However, the portion sizes are huge. They are meant for sharing. The amount food given for the price is reasonable. Overall, a great place to eat for a quick bite with some friends or family. Restaurant is somewhat small, probably can only fit 20 people inside. I believe the owners or whoever works there speak Chinese and Korean. Definitely would have no problem coming again!”

Bangin Buns

Address: 12154 Artesia Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“We arrived as soon as they had just started to open. The cashier was super friendly and even gave us recommendations and gave us all three sauces to try them out. I love spicy food so I chose heat level Bangin. The flavor was good but man it definitely brought the heat 🔥. Gonna for medium heat next time. The portions are good for the price. Even though they had just opened and looked like they were still preparing , the food came out super quick and fresh. The chicken was moist !! I would recommend this place. 👌”

Ricos Tacos Artesia

Address: 11732 Artesia Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“"Ay........aaaa........ah..........Ricos. Ay........aaaa........ah..........Tacos." - parody of "Rico Suave", Gerardo 3.5 stars *Social Distancing Review* The former location of Wendy's, Albertaco's, Indian & Chinese restaurants, the current occupier is Ricos Tacos El Tio. I've been looking forward to trying the place once RTET opened, and when I saw the neon OPEN sign lit, lunch plans were in order. Lengua vampiro- I've only had vampiros before at a taqueria in Lakewood, so I can only make comparisons between the two. The other taqueria serves their vampiros on a crunchy taco shell, whereas Ricos Tacos El Tio does not. I much prefer the crunch of the other place. The iceberg lettuce was also a little limp. The taqueria in Lakewood freshly shreds & soaks their lettuce in water, for more crisp & vibrant lettuce. Lastly, RTET applies sliced avocado, whereas the place in Lakewood squeezes dollops of guacamole on their vampiro. Again, the edge goes to the Lakewood taqueria. I found Rico Tacos El Tio's vampiro to be a bit disappointing. Birria de chivo- What a way to redeem yourselves, Ricos Tacos El Tio! Slow steamed goat in a mild chile broth, w/ onions, cilantro & paired w/ salsa & 6 corn tortillas. Ample amounts of tender goat meat, including the fatty cuts, I relished each bite. The broth was well seasoned & quite similar to menudo. I absolutely loved this! My only regret is in not ordering the larger size, which I will next time! The menu at Ricos Tacos El Tio covers all the Mexican food bases - tacos, tortas, quesadillas, burritos, vampiros, & weekend menudo. The protein options include the standard carne asada, adobada, carnitas & pollo asado, but also buche (pork stomach), lengua & cabeza. The aguas frescas looked quite refreshing on a hot day. Service was good. The young man working the register was friendly as he took my order. Drive thru is available for those who don't want to leave their cars. Plenty of seating via the new tables & booths brought in for the Grand Opening. Parking is via a private lot. While I wasn't enthused with their vampiro, I was definitely enthused with Ricos Tacos El Tio's birria de chivo. Soothing to the soul with liberal amounts of seasoned, succulent goat meat, I'm getting this again, probably the week I post this review. I'll experiment with RTET's menu, perhaps a burrito or quesadilla, to go along with another helping of the birria de chivo. I'm happy Ricos Tacos El Tio has opened in my neighborhood and I recommend coming here.”

Ricos Tacos El Tio

Address: 11732 Artesia Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701, USA

Restaurant

“This place is amazing, Ricos Tacos El Tio deserves more than a five star review they deserve a 10. Best customer service, the workers there are so kind and sweet. They are patient and their tacos are amazing especially the salasa and the lemonade. Go check it out some of these people posting bad commments are not correct. The food does not look like that it looks better and promising. I will be going their more often and my new favorite place to eat.”
