I go to this nice place often! This is my favorite spot to pass a nice evening. I visit this place frequently. The meals are very good, the staff members are helpful and the payment is decent. I like going in this restaurant over a decent dinner.

BETWEEN THE REVIEWS w/ Rodney S

Q)Where did you go for lunch, Rodney?
A)I haven't had Indian food in a good while, Rodney, so I thought I'd hit up a new spot in Little India. New Flavor of India has been bookmarked by me, so I decided to check it off my list.

Q)Did you order off the menu, or decide on the AYCE lunch buffet?
A)Lunch buffet all the way! I usually go for lunch buffet whenever I dine out for India food. New Flavor of India's lunch buffet is a little pricier than other more established restaurants located in Little India at $11.99.

Q)What did you think of the buffet, Rodney?
A)I found New Flavor of India's lunch buffet limited in terms of selection. The usual suspects were represented - tandoori chicken, dal makhani, biryani, saag paneer, butter chicken etc. I mainly focused on the tender goat curry, which was really good.

Q)Was there a good dessert spread?
A)Yes, Rodney, the dessert options were nice. Mixed fruit, an Indian type of funnel cake and corn meal balls satiated my sweet tooth. The star, though, was the sweet gajar halwa. I know it's traditionally served warm, but I believe it would be quite nice chilled, especially considering the dog days of August we're currently in.

Q)Final thoughts on New Flavor of India, Rodney?
A)I had a perfectly good lunch at New Flavor of India. The price either should be lower or there should be more items available. The service was nice & the owner let me know he always listens to customer feedback, and changes things he deems necessary to. The highlights, for me, were the goat curry & gajar halwa. I look forward to coming back & trying the rest of the menu

New flavors of India, the restaurant is another addition to already crowded Indian eateries in Artesia, dubbed as little India in Southern California. Buffet does not have many varieties but decent. The goat curry stood out, the meat was soft, juicy and flavorful. The decor is decent but hideous lighting on the ceiling. If not this place is ok and price wise reasonable.
