Went with my boyfriend while on vacation in LA and he even loved the food. He is very picky when it comes to Indian food, being from India. We both loved it. I would highly recommend the chicken biryani and the lamb korma. Both were savory and delicious. We would definitely go back on our next visit to LA!
Tastiest Indian food in LA. Amazing polite service. Great location. The lamb shank is heavenly.
great food! very spicy so beware but all in all a great experience. It is in a prime area also which was helpful since we were visiting. We will definitely be back next time we make it out to LA.
Walked up the road from the Beverly Hills Marriott and found this local Indian restaurant.
We were welcomed in and seated. Their was only one more table occupied but they were doing some takeaway meals.
We started with the usual poppadum's and dips, - very nice and then on to mains. My travelling companions, husband and I all had a different dish and there were no complaints.
Pleasant surroundings, nice staff and good food.
Understanding Indian food becomes an art form after awhile and although Western tastes dictate a different form of traditional Indian cuisine, it is nice to find a restaurant that mixes original and western with good seasonings. Anarbagh is such a place. However the service does not match up with the food. It is painfully slow and the servers did not always understand what we wanted. I asked for a bottle of wine on the menu and they "couldn't find it", so why is it on the Menu? The tandoor chicken was very passable and the mussels were delicious. The chicken korma and the lamb in coconut sauce were equally inviting.
