Cantina Frida

Food was spectacular. Our server, Jeffery was so accomodating. Will definitely return.

Needed a place to recharge after getting off hop--on hop-off bus and making the trek to Rodeo Drive. Needed a place to stop and recharge the batteries. Cantina Frida was a good choice. We were fortunate they were able to seat 9 of us without reservations. Menu was nicely priced va what we were expecting. Good place to people watch if you can get the right seats

Food was good, they will make a giant bowl of fresh guacamole at the table for you.

Service was good too.

Not crazy about the mole. As you can see from my picture, it comes on the enchilada almost like a soup. There is no escaping it.

Excellent service. A very comfortable, airy, spacious place. They do complicated, yet very subtle flavor so well.... What impressed me about this place is that, despite their location and wonderful food that they serve, they are neither super-expensive nor pretentious. From their three-dollar chips and salsa to tacos and tostada salad, you can taste the care that they put into sourcing the ingredients and cooking. An all-round pleasurable experience.

Great Mexican food, the Nacho's were beautiful! Had fajitas and they were huge but lovely too.
Few issues with service (newly opened at the time of visit) but worth a visit if you are looking for good Mexican food in a great location and good atmosphere
