Carla cooks from her heart and cooks up incredible meals! She is a Master Chef, who loves to cook and it shows! We have all had Italian food but there is definitely something very special about her cooking. There is a special "WOW" factor to her food ( after you've tried it you'll know ). Her food is beyond food on a plate; her food is part of the conversation. It's food you want to share with the person you're dining with because you want to taste what they ordered too!

The bow-ties pasta red sauce and eggplant parmigiana is so flavorful you don't want to finish it... but you do! Because it tastes incredible!

I am so happy I found this secret-gem of a restaurant and look forward to returning to try more authentic and delicious Italian food.

Absolutely amazing food!! Carla’s red sauce is so light and seemingly simple and yet I have never had anything like it. The food is better than any of the fancy places around town and yet it’s at a cafe and you can order it for pickup! I’m floored. Lol. I also had the eggplant parmigiana and it was fantastic. You can’t go wrong ordering from here.

Italy is one of my favorite countries, and this is one of my favorite slices of Italy. The five-layer lasagna is hands-down the best lasagna I've had in my life. The coffee is one of the best ones you can find in the States. Carla is so friendly and engaging too; this place is a must-visit!
