I enjoyed eating here. Friendly staff. The breakfast was great. Made it to lunch but i was stuffed. Going back for sure in the future. Yadira was awesome. Always on it and making sure i was happy.
The location is convenient for us. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh and plentiful. Unfortunately the Fallbrook location was closed and we enjoy going to a buffet.
Normally I only leave reviews for places that are amazing or terrible, but this place was so remarkably average...
...that it was impressive.
Impressively average, now that's new.
For example... The food wasn't bad, but certainly wasn't good. The ice cream machine dropped out soft serve so slowly it took half an hour to get a cone full. Then when it finally came out and in ready to dig in, it's worse than McDonald's ice cream.
That's just a snippet of what everything was like. Service? Not friendly, not mean, average. Other food? Not good, not garbage, average. Even price, not horribly expensive, but not cheap either.
If you're looking for an abundantly average place to eat, look no farther! HomeTown Buffet is the place for you!!!
A fair price for a large variety of foods to choose from! ???? A good place to go too when you wanna go for more than 2 rounds of food. ????
I went here for a Sunday brunch and it is like many Hometown Buffet's that I visited before. The food is plentiful, but of medium-quality. It attracts huge numbers of families so I would really call it a dining experience as much as a dining ordeal. Is located in the old McDonnell Douglas aircraft Factory site in Burbank and parking is no problem. I would say depending on if you have a coupon or not it could be a good deal. I have been to other Hometown Buffet's in other states and the ones in Ohio are superior I would say that this is average according to California standards
