Octopus Japanese Restaurant

Pretty good sushi spot near the movie theater. Party of 4 and our plates were dirty when seated. Told our server about it and she switched the plates with the empty table next to us rather than bringing it back to have it cleaned.

Good food. Convenient free parking. Can't get reservations so first come first serve and you may be waiting a good 30 minutes plus if you have a big party like we did. Overall a nice place in the heart of the strip in Burbank.

Nice accommodations, can get busy but staff is friendly. Atmosphere is warm. Busy on Saturday evenings. Bento box is very good on a humble budget. Great selection of sushi dishes. A nice place for friends and family.

I work nearby and my co-workers and I have made it a Friday lunch tradition to go here. They have an awesome space with a cool tree in the center and a bunch of colorful lights surrounding comfortable booths. What's especially great about Octopus is that they have a varied menu with a wide range of prices, from really inexpensive $2-$3 rolls (which are good but basic) to much more fancy special rolls. We typically just get the basic rolls, but the fancy rolls I've had occasionally have all been unique and delicious! Love this place, highly recommend.

Great place to eat. Great service. My son enjoys trying something new each time we are out. He trying the Octopue Salad and enjoyed the Octopus only. The Sushi was great. The presentations of the sushi is amazing. The hand soap in the restroom smells great. I can't wait for my next visit.
